Homesick? You Betcha!

A big welcome to our new followers Susan and Bob. You can check out their blog by clicking here Just BS! A very interesting blog with amazing photos.

Also welcoming Encourage One Another. Great spiritual humor that we’re sure you’ll enjoy.

We love having new followers so a Big Thanks for joining us on our journey.

We really want to express our gratitude to our blogging friends for all of your wonderful comments. We cherish the bond that you have created with your words and you have no idea how those heart felt words encourage and inspire us. The most amazing thing is that other than through this blog we have never met most of you. Simply amazing!

You fill a big spot in our lives and in our hearts.

BUT . . . Tonight we are both feeling very homesick. This will be the first Easter in a very long time that we haven’t been with our kids, our grand kids, our sisters, our brothers, our nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews, our cousins and aunts and uncles and last but not least, our Dad, in Ontario.

Even though we know in our hearts that we are exactly where we need to be at this time in our lives . . . that doesn’t stop us from missing all of them.

  1. So sorry you are feeling so homesick tonight but it is certainly understandable. Family is so important and there is nothing that can take its place. Hoping you will get to at least talk to some of them over the weekend. Not quite the same but better than nothing. Even though you are where you need to be, it's still painful to be separated from your family. HUGS to you and Cowboy and God Bless.

  2. And ((((((((hugs))))))) from Betty and Joe too. Homesick is an awful feeling. And I bet your family misses you just as much, but they are probably as thankful as we are that you are where you can get the best of care.

  3. Sorry you are feeling homesick. It's not a good feeling missing the ones you love--it's a very sad feeling. But, you have all of us out here who are looking forward to the day when you and Cowboy are on the road, again headed to see the family you so miss, today.

  4. The only cure for homesickness is out of the question and that stinks. I'm sorry that you will be missing your traditional Easter celebration.
